This is one of the writing assignments that I had to do in PROV-504 course. For this assignment, I had to research and use 3 scholarly articles from academic journals and some chapters from a book. As an international student who came from a non-Western country, I didn’t know how academic integrity is defined and deemed in the American education. This assignment helped me enlighten the concepts of academic honesty and the possible causes of plagiarism and the techniques to prevent it. I’ve included this assignment in my portfolio to manifest that I’m fully aware of plagiarism and I am capable of writing academically.
